With so many things to do in Chiang Mai, choosing what to do can be an overwhelming experience! That’s why we’ve put together Chiang Mai Essentials, an experience that samples a variety of highlights, from temples, to coffee with elephants, mountain vistas and more.
If you’ve just arrived in Chiang Mai and want to get acquainted with the area or simply can't choose what to do then this is the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of historical, cultural and natural highlights in a convenient one-day trip. We’ll spend ample time at each attraction allowing for plenty of photo opportunities and time to soak in the atmosphere. Between each attraction you’ll get to relax in comfortable air conditioned transportation with no more than 30 minutes drive between each attraction.

Tour Plan
08.00am - 08.30am - Pick up
We will pick you up within Chiang Mai city limits and begin the trip!
09.00am - Arrive at Doi Kham temple
The temple of Doi Kham is located just outside Chiang Mai city perched up on a hill with amazing mountain landscapes.  This ancient temple has more than 1,300 years of history, believed to be built in circa 687.
10.30am - Admire the Elephants
Continue the journey to Elfin cafe for refreshments whilst admiring the elephants. You're welcome to feed them and get up close and personal for a small additional fee.
12.30am - Lunch
We'll arrive in the famous mountain resort of Mon Jam and enjoy lunch with some incredible views.
14.00pm - Mon Lon
Hike an hour roundtrip to Mon Lon, a rocky outcrop with views of the valley below.
15.30pm - Botanical Gardens
Wander around the fascinating Queen Sirikit botanical gardens and enjoy the jungle canopy before we head back to the city.
17.00pm - Arrive in Chiang Mai city
It's a 30-45 minute drive back from the botanical gardens to the city where we'll conclude the trip.
