Overview
Experience the incredible Chiang Rai White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) on a day trip from Chiang Mai. We'll also visit the Blue temple and Mae Khachan hot springs for a memorable day trip in comfortable transportation.
Sit back and relax as we travel 3 hours from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai to visit some of the region highlights including the most famous landmark in Chiang Rai - Wat Rong Khun or the White temple. This incredible temple was built by local artist, Chaloemchai Khositphiphat who continues to add to the temple to this day. Along the way we'll take a break at Mae Khachan hot spring and gesyer to enjoy a snack, relax and take some photos before continuing on to Chiang Rai.
After the white temple we visit Wat Rong Seua (temple of the dancing tiger) which is adorned in incredible blue and gold paint. After this we head to Ma Long Der - a famous restaurant specializing in lanna fusion cuisine before heading back to Chiang Mai along a scenic road that passes through Mae Takhrai national park.

Tour Plan
08.00am - Hotel Pick Up
We'll pick you up from your hotel / accommodation and set off for Chiang Rai
09.30am - Visit hot spring
We will stop at Mae Khachan hot springs for a break, there are several small geysers, gardens and temples to admire
11.00am - Visit Chiang Rai White Temple
Enjoy the spectacle that is Wat Rong Khun, wander around the amazing temple and museum taking plenty of photos and videos along the way.
12.00am - Blue Temple
After Wat Rong Khun we'll head into Chiang Rai city and Wat Rong Seua or the Blue Temple
13.00pm - Lunch
We will stop for lunch and the amazing Ma Long Der Thai fusion restaurant (included in price) which sits surrounded by rice paddy fields and ponds. There is a small museum / souvenir shop if you wish to buy any gifts.
17.00pm - Arrive back in Chiang Mai
After lunch you can relax and take a nap as we journey back to Chiang Mai city and conclude the tour with drop off at your hotel.
