In May 2024, Eco Tours Chiang Mai and parent company, Thai Eco Solutions along with friends and partners visited the little known national park, Tham Pa Thai located in Lampang province to make a donation of food, energy drinks and water to help protect the health of those on the front line of preventing fires within the park boundary.  Featuring a complex of mountains and forests ranging from 1,253 metres above sea level down to the sea level, this park has over 50 species of birds and a plethora of waterfalls, caves and other fascinating attractions which are seldom visited, despite the park covering a large area.  With limited resources, preventing fires in a vast area is a daunting task and so donations of essentials like food, jasmine rice, energy drinks, and drinking water can make a significant difference in ensuring these frontline workers have the resources they need to carry out their vital conservation efforts.

This kind of community support underscores the importance of collaboration in environmental preservation and is a small yet meaningful way to support as well as saying thanks for the hard work endured by the national park staff during the dry season.
